Juice and Speed Planner

This planner answers one shop question in Steal A Tree: vat, treadmill, or Trail? Juice Society has not published a public price list, so you will not find gold amounts here. You will find a spend order that matches the live loop: steal saplings, grow fruit, juice cash, upgrade the rusty vat toward gold and rainbow, bank Steps on the treadmill, then buy Trails that multiply speed you already earned. If a gnome tags you while you carry a tree, you drop it. Speed is how you make that tag miss. Juice is how you afford the speed.

Use this after you have at least one planted tree and one juice dump. If your hopper is empty, close the planner and steal a common cube-fruit sapling. The tools hub is the parent; treadmill speed and juice upgrades are the mechanic pages this order assumes. Trail ranks live on the trails tier list.

Decision rule (read this once)

Ask, in order:

  1. Is the vat still rusty and slow? Upgrade juice. Cash volume solves more problems than a Trail on a plot that cannot pay.
  2. Do later gnomes tag you on commons? Bank Steps on the treadmill before you shop Trails. Unpaid speed is a wish.
  3. Do you already have a real mill (Iron Treadmill or equivalent) and leftover cash? Then a Trail is a multiplier, not a rescue.
  4. Did a weekend gnome or candy gnome just appear? Temporarily bias Steps over cosmetics until you learn the new chase.

Never spend the last of your cash on a Trail if the vat is the bottleneck you can see. Never mill for twenty minutes if plant slots are empty. Never chase the 1-in-1,000,000 crystal or rainbow tree as a speed plan; that is an Index flex, not an income strategy.

First hour

Goal: rusty vat starts paying, one mill block is on the clock, you can steal a second common without panicking.

  • Steal commons only. Cube-fruit saplings are the early tree official media shows. Banana, grape, apple, orange, strawberry, watermelon, and pineapple all juice; you do not need a mutation yet.
  • Fill plant slots. Three mediocre trees beat one guarded flex.
  • First cash into the vat. Capacity and output. You are walking toward gold and rainbow, not buying a particle on day one.
  • One treadmill block after the first dump. Enough Steps that the nearest gnome is a route, not a coin flip. Stop milling when the next steal is realistic.
  • Skip Trails. If the shop is flashing, it is bait. Home copy on this wiki treats Trails as post-Iron Treadmill.
  • Codes. None confirmed as of 12 Sep 2026. If a Steps or Speed string appears, redeem it from the codes hub and put Steps into the mill, not into a Trail you skipped on purpose.

First-hour fail: buying a Trail, then getting tagged because the vat never upgraded and you still walk like a starter. Second fail: milling so long that fruit rots on the branch (or simply sits unharvested) while five other players take the commons you needed.

Mid (vat paying, Index started)

Goal: juice is a habit, Steps keep up with mid gardens, pets and mutations are allowed to exist without hijacking the shop.

  • Vat still leads if output feels sticky. Gold-tier thinking: dump stacks, not drips. Purple juice in gallery art is a flex state, not a first-week requirement.
  • Treadmill becomes a scheduled block, not an AFK identity. After each juice dump, mill until the next garden you actually intend to enter feels honest, then leave the mill.
  • Trails enter the conversation only after the mill upgrade you were saving for is done. Pick from the trails list using steal routes you already run, not a thumbnail aura.
  • Mutations and Index claims are free-ish rewards. Claim them. Do not reroute all cash into a mutation you cannot juice yet.
  • Pets park on the plot if they help juice or steals. They are not a substitute for Steps.

Mid fail: Trail plus empty mill, or mill plus rusty vat you were embarrassed to upgrade. Mid also fails if you spend the session hunting a weekend candy gnome garden with starter speed because the patch felt like a deadline.

Late (gold or rainbow vat in sight, rare trees on the brain)

Goal: speed high enough to contest rare saplings on a 6-player server without turning every tag into a dropped crystal.

  • Keep the vat climbing. Rainbow is the gallery end state. A late plot that stops juicing to flex trees will lose the cash that buys the next Trail.
  • Steps still beat panic Trails. If a new gnome pattern showed up after the 11 Sep 2026 stamp or a weekend patch, mill first, shop second.
  • Trails are now loadout. Swap for the chase in front of you. Do not own six Trails you never mill enough to justify.
  • Rare fruit and the crystal/rainbow tree are steal problems. Approach them with speed you paid for. Drop on purpose if the tag is free; a dropped rare you can recast beats a tagged drop in the lane.
  • Do not script the mill. Auto treadmill is an injector with a Sunday expiry. The planner assumes you stand there.

Late fail: treating the 1-in-1,000,000 as a quota, then installing a speed hack when the gnome disagrees. The scripts hub is the warning; this planner is the alternative.

Sample spend order (no gold numbers)

First hour: steal common, plant, juice, vat upgrade, short mill, steal again. Mid: juice dump, vat if sticky, mill block, Index claim, then Trail only if mill is already upgraded. Late: juice dump, mill to the new gnome, Trail swap, rare steal, plant, juice.

If a future code grants Steps, insert it as a mill shortcut in whichever phase you are in. If it grants Speed, treat it like a temporary Trail and still upgrade the vat.

Write the next purchase on paper before you open the shop: vat, treadmill, or Trail. If you cannot say which gnome that purchase helps you outrun, you are shopping, not planning.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers Steal A Tree players ask after every weekend patch.

When do I buy Trails in Steal A Tree?

After juice is flowing and the mill is upgraded enough that a Trail multiplies real Steps. Rank options on the trails tier list.

Should I mill or juice if I can only do one this session?

Juice if the vat is rusty or empty. Mill if gnomes already tag your commons. See juice upgrades and treadmill speed.

Why are there no gold prices?

Juice Society has not published a public table, and weekend patches can move costs. This planner uses order, not invented numbers.

Do codes change first-hour order?

Only if a real Steps or Speed code exists. None are confirmed. Check the codes hub before you rearrange the hour.

Where does this sit in the tools section?

It is the main planner under the tools hub. Use it when you have cash and a shop choice, not on an empty plot.

Can I skip the treadmill if I buy a good Trail?

No. Trails multiply earned speed. Skipping the mill is how tagged drops start again on later gnomes.
